TE-1500 Sub-Zero Constant Temperature Bath (115 V)
The TE-1500 Sub-Zero Constant Temperature Bath, with integrated thermoelectric cooling, accommodates viscometer tubes requiring a bath depth up to 12" and provides reliable temperature control from −30 °C to 10 °C. The unit accommodates up to 2 simultaneous viscosity determinations.
The TE-1500 Sub-Zero Constant Temperature Bath consists of the bath unit and viscometer port covers. Viscometer tubes, holders and thermometer sold separately. Bath medium must be sourced separately. Conforms to test method ASTM D445/446.
Precise and accurate temperature control
- Temperature range: −30 °C to 10 °C ± 0.01 °C
- Meets ASTM D445 temperature sensitivity requirements for low temperature kinematic viscosity
- Temperature selection is variable between −30 °C and 10 °C or selectable at eight pre-set temperatures (10 °C,0 °C,−5 ° C,
−10 °C,−15 °C,−20 °C,−25 °C and −30 °C)
Compact,user-friendly design
- Environmentally-friendly,integrated thermoelectric air cooling requires no external refrigeration or air/water heat exhangers
- Two glass vicometer ports (each 2" in diameter) and one thermometer port (0.4" in diamter) allow up to 2 simultaneous viscosity determinations
- Baffle within the aluminum bath vessel facilitates circulation for uniform bath temerature and provides a plain viewing background
- Frost-free viewing window and internal illumination proves excellent visibility within the bath

- Bath thermistor senses over-temperature fault and removes power
- Thermistor disconnection results in removal of bath heater power
