The Cannon-Ubbelohde Four-Bulb Shear Dilution Viscometer measures intrinsic viscosities extrapolated to zero shear rate with negligible kinetic energy correction.
Minimum sample volume is 20 mL. Minimum bath depth is 430 mm (17 in).
Viscometer is calibrated and provided with a certificate of calibration and instruction sheet. See expanded uncertainty for more information.
Viscometer constant is the same at all temperatures. Approximate constant is 0.002 cSt/s (represents flow times of 200–1000 seconds). Range is 0.4 to 2 cSt. Shear rate at wall is 82–3300 reciprocal seconds.
