TE-3000 Sub-Zero Constant Temperature Bath (230 V)
The CANNON TE-3000 Sub-Zero Thermoelectric Constant Temperature Bath provides accurate temperature control between –30°C and +30°C, meeting the requirements of ASTM D 445 for measurement of kinematic viscosity at low temperatures. The low temperatures are obtained by built-in air-cooled Peltier cells which provide thermoelectric cooling. No external refrigeration unit or air/water heat exchanger is used.
The TE-3000 consists of the bath unit and viscometer port covers. Viscometer tubes, holders and thermometer sold separately. Bath medium must be sourced separately. Conforms to ASTM D445/446.

Microprocessor-controlled temperature regulation & networking capabilities
- Desired bath temperature and calibration temperatures are digitally entered on the front panel keypad
- Integrated microprocessor automatically regulates bath temperature
- Both target and actual bath temperatures are monitored by an RTD temperature probe and continuously displayed in °C or °F on the LCD screen
- RS-232 and RS-485 communication ports provide data acquisition and multi-unit networking capabilities
Compact,user-friendly design
- Environmentally-friendly,integrated thermoelectric air cooling requires no external refrigeration or air/water heat exhangers
- Two glass vicometer ports (each 2" in diameter) and one thermometer port (0.4" in diamter) allow up to 2 simultaneous viscosity determinations
- Baffle within the aluminum bath vessel facilitates circulation for uniform bath temerature and provides a plain viewing background
- Frost-free viewing window and internal illumination proves excellent visibility within the bath
Safe operation
- Bath thermistor senses over-temperature fault and removes power
- Thermistor disconnection results in removal of bath heater power
